Very friendly staff. Took us (family and children) in on a very busy holiday weekend when other hotels were completely booked. Room was not perfect, but served well for a night.
We had to stay here as a last resort a few weeks back, and it was probably the worst place we've ever stayed. When I complained about my room smelling like cigarettes the owners acted like it was no big deal even though they're all supposed to be smoke-free rooms...
I Put Nearly $1,000 Of My Own Money Into Fixing Up Our Apt. Into What Was By Far The Best Unit There, Just To Have It Taken Away On A Whim... Just For Don, And Eve's Personal Amusement. They Both Have God Complexes, And Quite Literally Get Off On Ruining The Lives Of Their Own Tenants Who They Claim To Be Helping.
Travelers cannot ask for much better.
As For The Rest Of The Rooms... They're All Disgusting, Most Of The Rooms Either Have Mice, Bedbugs, Or Both... Because The Usual Renters Are For The Most Part, Raging Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, Or Homeless Drifters That The Church Puts Up There, Not Only On A Nightly Basis, But Monthly's As Well, So You Never Really Know Who Your Neighbor Is, Until The Cops Come, Which Is A Nearly Nightly Occurrence...
Then when they switched my room they charged me another $20 for a "pet-fee" all the sudden, Thank! God! it was only one night cause it's obviously a party hotel, with all kinds of people, up all night long being loud, and annoying... I'd give this place a 1/4 star, but that would be generous on my part. Take my advice, and stay anywhere else but here if possible... You'll thank me in the morning...
I found the room to be comfortable. The bed was perfect. The room was fairly priced.
It was clean and comfy and for the price of definitely stay here again. The owners were very friendly, that bed was much needed got a great night sleep.
The Royal Inn is under new management. So most of the previous reviews are unfair.
I Lived Here For Nearly Nine Months, And Watched The Two Rip-Off Artists Who So-Called Run The Place, (Don & Eve) Chase Out All The Decent People (Including Me, My Wife, And My Kids) All So They Could Make A Whopping $25 More Dollars A Month Off My Unit, And Also Have Their Housekeeper Back. Who Moved Out Months Before Because Of The Way They Were Being Treated By Don, And Eve Who Want Their Tenants To Do All Their Work For Them, So They Can Focus All Their Energies On Ruining The Lives Of The Tenants Who Don't...
