Price was a huge factor. The room was adequate. We always do a thorough check for bedbugs (no matter where we stay). No bed bugs in your hotel, but whomever you contracted to paint cut a lot of corners. You may want to check behind your beds. We had two rooms, both felt like we were staying in the middle of a remodel.
Room was fine... Beds were comfortable enough. Not a fan of the pillows... A bit too firm for me. Not impressed at all with the bathroom. A bit to grimy. Honestly the place looked like it should have roaches.... Which I didn't see any in my room but when leaving I DID see one on the wall in the hallway a few rooms down from where we stayed!!
The hotel is good, the staff is friendly, it is a clean place with functional amenities. Remember to bring earplugs!
The early morning noise was easily offset by the beautiful sunrise over the mountains and the view of two horses in the pasture area behind the hotel. Life and travel does not get much better than that!!
MANY years ago this was a nice motel with attached restaurant. The restaurant is now closed. In my opinion it's an average Motel 6. We don't usually stay at Motel 6, but it was the last night of a two week road trip and we just needed a place to shower and sleep. Nothing really wrong with the room, just old. Small sink area. Good value if you just need a bed and shower and aren't expecting anything else.
This Motel 6 has very clean rooms. The air-conditioning works well. The water in bathroom is nice and hot. The prices are extremely reasonable. I also liked that they had a separate well lit sink area outside the bathroom. The reception lady Hanna is very pleasant, friendly and accommodating.
A small herd of elephants began moving around in the space above my room around 3:30am creating a lot of noise.
The indoor pool area is clean but needs a lot of work done to repair visible cracks in and around the hot tub and pool. The walls are badly in need of attention in the pool area as well.
Staff was helpful and check in was easy. Comfortable enough beds. The room met our needs-a place to sleep before getting back onto the road.
BEWARE: They allow elephants at this hotel!
