Exceptional service! The staff at Gary's Shoes are very knowledgable about fitting you with the right shoes for your feet. Surprisingly for a shoe store, they have many other quality items such as, a complete line of Yeti beverage cups and coolers, AVEX thermos', high end socks and purses. When in Richfield you must stop in and check Gary's Shoes out!!

I just had the best customer service experience at Gary's Shoes. A pair of the best Nike basketball shoes I've ever owned went defective, the sole cracked right across the flex line that spans the ball of the foot. I asked Scott if Nike makes good on their warranties (...I had a faint memory that Nike was pretty good about that). So he says to bring the shoes in and he'll take care of it. I was totally expecting a long process of him calling Nike, then sending the shoes in and waiting for Nike to say yay or nay on replacement. But instead Scott gave me an immediate store credit. Wow! That was way easier than I thought it would be.
High prices. Corner on the shoe market for small town. Not great service if your not a regular. Owner and employees spend too much time visiting and not help the customer
The staff is friendly and the store has a decent selection. They're especially good if you're looking for athletic shoes or boots. Prices are generally on the higher end of what you would expect to pay so try and wait for their sales.
Now I'm still sad the shoes went bad - which apparently could be due to me leaving them in my trunk in the cold and putting them on to play ball before they had a chance to thaw - but the sting is lessened with the store credit and the fact that Gary's Shoes regularly brings in a great selection of shoes. I'm sure I'll find another pair of Hyperquickness 3's...fingers crossed. :)
